Hi Edwin Jan,

During the past month I have visited you in Forest Lawn and asked you to take care of my son Allen and show him around.  In so many ways, he was like you.  He was kind and respectful.   He was loved by everyone and had a beautiful smile.   He loved animals and had rescued almost 40 dogs.  He pased away on  Feb. 14, 2008, Valentin's Day.  Your mother and I are old friends. We both miss our sons very much and I hope we can help each other to make our lives less painfull by remembering your beautiful faces and golden hearts.  Love you        Diana

My dad left for Armenia two days ago.  You know it being cold now he has probably spent the last three weeks buying warm clothes (you know we own none living in the OC).  The only thing left on his list were gloves. 

Remember when I went to NY and I needed gloves and earmuffs.  I remember you giving me yours and I was like "they are too big, I need to get smaller ones" and you told me "this way I will be there with you." I never used them, didn't tell you that and then I just didn't give them back. I know im a thief.

So when my dad couldn't find any gloves to his liking, I went and pulled yours out of the box. I told him to take the gloves, he asked me where I got them from and I said they were yours.  My dad then turned to me and said, "You sure you want me to take them?"  My heart fell a little realizing that you will never ask me for them again, and I said, "Yes, this way a part of Edwin will be in Armenia too." 

This is an extremely long way of saying; I just miss you so much.
